Primary Judaics

Sandy Sloane-Brenner

Sandy Sloane-Brenner is the Judaics teacher for Hillel's primary students. She also teaches Hebrew to Kindergarten and 1st graders. She has a degree from the University of Cincinnati with a major in elementary education. She is proud, happy, and grateful to have been teaching at Hillel for nearly 50 years.

She looks at teaching as an enlightening, thought-provoking, inspiring, educational, and most of all, rewarding experience. Her goals are to foster within her students a love for both the Hebrew language and Judaic learning. Because each student is special to Mrs. Sloane-Brenner, they respond to her creative and loving ways by embracing all that she teaches.

Mrs. Sloane-Brenner reflects, "As my students continue to learn from me, I continue to learn from them."
